Internet Desk: ICC Chairman Shashank Manohar has decided not to resign from his post in June this year. It is learnt that the 59 year old cricket administrator from Vidarbha will continue in his post till the completion of his term in June next year.

Mr Manohar had stepped down from the position in March this year for “personal reasons”. However, he was persuaded by the Full Members and Associates to continue as Chairman.

Meanwhile the Supreme Court appointed Committee of Administrators has invited Mr Manohar to attend the final of the Indian Premier League in Hyderabad on May 21.

According to sources, the invitation has already gone to the ICC Chairman. It will be great opportunity

for the board officials to sit across the table and sort out all the differences with ICC in terms of finance and governance models.

The Committee of Administrators are in no mood to rage a war with the ICC and the invitation to Manohar is being looked as a continuation of COA’s approach towards negotiating with cricket’s governing body.

The BCCI had threatened to pull out of the forthcoming Champions Trophy following ICC’s decision to restructure its revenue and governance model.
