Xtra Time Web Desk: On Tuesday, India will face Kuwait at the Sri Kanteerava Stadium. While India is favored due to their FIFA ranking and home advantage, Kuwait also has a good chance.

In the SAFF Championship group stage, Kuwait won against Nepal with a score of 3-1 and Pakistan with a score of 4-0. Recently, they have also got wins against teams like United Arab Emirates, Tajikistan, Philippines, and Zambia. However, Kuwait has won seven out of their last eight matches.

In this situation, if Kuwait defeats India in the final match of the group stage, they will advance to the semifinals as group toppers. However, Kuwait’s head coach, Rui Bento, is not particularly optimistic about facing India.

In the pre-match press conference Quwait coach Bento said, “In the previous match, we made several changes to prevent our players from getting exhausted. I have trust in each of my players.”

“I focus on the improvement of my players in every match. That is crucial for us. Instead of keeping an eye on India, our goal is to focus on ourselves because we are the ones who can control our game, not the opponents.”
