Xtra Time Web Desk: Ahead of Sunday’s high octane Super 4 game against Pakistan in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 tournament, the Indian players were involved in a team bonding session. The players were seen enjoying their time-out in the exotic beaches of Palm Jumeirah. The likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul were seen surfing in the sea. The players were also involved in kayaking and other fun activities.
All the players apart from Hardik Pandya were involved in game of beach volley ball. This is part of a team bonding session which was the idea of Team India’s new mental training coach Paddy Upton. There were smiles all around, which are good signs of a healthy environment inside the team as well. Head Coach Rahul Dravid and bowling coach Paras Mhambrey were seen soaking in the atmosphere, watching the players play beach volleyball.

For former India captain and Head Coach Rahul Dravid, this is not new. He has been involved in such fun activities like beach volleyball during his playing days.
The good thing for the Indian team is they look a happy family with each member having a clear role. On Friday the team will have an optional practice session at the ICC academy.
