Xtra Time Web Desk: In a recent video circulating on social media, former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the dynamic wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant were spotted engaging in a game of pickleball in Dubai. Despite both being in the city for the IPL auction, Dhoni opted not to join the Chennai Super Kings’ camp at the auction table, adding an element of mystery to his future in the sport.

The IPL 2023 had its share of challenges for both players. Dhoni, troubled by a knee injury, has now seemingly overcome the setback. In contrast, Pant had to miss the entire IPL 2023 due to a horrific car accident. Despite the challenges, Pant’s IPL journey has been noteworthy since his debut in 2016. Having played 98 matches for various franchises, he amassed 2838 runs with an impressive strike rate of 147.97, establishing himself as a key player in the league. The pickleball camaraderie in Dubai adds a lighter touch to the speculation surrounding Dhoni’s future in the cricketing arena.
