Internet Desk: The organising committee for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro has unveiled the designs of the tickets for the sporting extravaganza.
The tickets will be sent from the graphic design company to the buyers, said the Rio 2016 president, Carlos Nuzman, during the ticket unveiling event on Friday, reported Xinhua.
The tickets, in several colours, include pictographs of the Rio 2016 sports and, for the first time in the Games’ history, each Olympic and Paralympic discipline will have its own design.
According to the organising committee, out of the total six million tickets available, almost 67% have already been sold and another two million are still available and can be bought through the Rio 2016 website or through ticket booths that will be open from June.
