Internet Desk: Another blow from Rio arrived as weightlifter Satish Kumar Sivalingam crashed out from the Olympics in his first round. In the men’s 77kg weightlifting he crashed out of the elimination round.

Satish lifted a total of 329kg but was not close to the best lift of 346kg in his group. He lifted  143kg in his first snatch lift and 148kg in his second snatch lift but he failed to lift 153kg in his last snatch lift.

In the clean and jerk attempt, he lifted 176kg in the first lift and later lifted 181kg in the second attempt. But he again failed to lift in the third lift and crashed out of the event.

He missed the final berth by three points only. He came in the forth in ranking while the third ranking weightlifter scored 332points.
