Pranav Dhanawade is looking to be consistent .

Xtra Time Web Desk: Remember Pranav Dhanawade, the 16 year old prodigy who took the world by storm after he scored 1009 runs in local Bhandari Cup in Mumbai in 2016. Well, he still holds the world record for the highest score in an innings. But his career has been on a downslide since that superlative performance.

All the hype around Dhanwade soon vanished when he couldn't live up to the expectations. It was probably the attention that he drew which eventually resulted in his performance going down.

It has been more than four years since he created the world record but Dhanwade these days is struggling to find a team in his native Mumbai. The talented cricketer who even made it to the Hindi textbooks of standard 3 for his effort is now an outsider in Mumbai cricketing circle.

Dhanwade has been dumped from the age level squads of Mumbai due to his failures with the bat. To make matters worse he even lost the three year sponsorship from SS. He was also rejected from the list of registered players for IPL 2021 auctions.
