Image Source: khaborebong.com[/caption] Internet Desk: Ace Indian off-spinner sparked off controversy by not picking MS Dhoni in his all-time International cricket eleven in a contest named #AskAshwinContest organised by a leading sports magazine. Ashwin who is currently playing in the IPL for Rising Pune Supergiants is lead by Dhoni. The off spinner has picked former Australian Adam Gilchrist as wicketkeeper batsman ahead of Dhoni. In fact he has kept Gilly in the side as an opener. The swashbuckling left hander will open the innings with master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. South African all-rounder Jaques Kallis will come in at No 3. Batting next at positions 4-6 will be Brian Lara, Inzamam ul Haq and Steve Waugh. Former Australian Michael Bevan regarded as the best finisher during his time will bat at No. 7. Bevan will be followed by another legendary Aussie Shane Warne. The fast bowlers will comprise of Pakistani great Wasim Akram and Glenn Mcgrath. In order to stay away from controversy, Ashwin later clarified on his twitter handle that he has picked a side mostly comprising of players belonging to the past generation. But Dhoni’s decision to not bowl him in the semi final of World T20 did raise controversy. Ashwin’s ODI team: Sachin Tendulkar, Adam Gilchrist, Jacques Kallis, Brian Lara, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Steve Waugh, Michael Bevan, Lance Klusener, Shane Warne, Wasim Akram and Glenn Mcgrath.
