Xtra Time Web Desk : South Africa all rounder Chris Morris on Tuesday announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. The 34 year old year old took to his social media to draw curtains over his decade long career.

"Today I announce my retirement from all forms of cricket! Thanks to all who have played a part in my journey whether it be big or small…it's been a fun ride! Delighted to be taking up a coaching role at @titanscricket #lifebeginsnow," wrote Morris on his Instagram.

Morris made his debut for the South Africa National team in December 2012 against New Zealand and made his Test debut when England toured South Africa in back in 2016

The 34 year old also became the most expensive player in Indian Premier League history in 2020 as he was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore and got picked for INR 16.25 crores in the subsequent year by the Rajasthan Royals.

The all rounder played four Tests, 42 ODIs and 23 T20Is for South Africa, having last played his last international game back in 2019.
