XtraTime Web Desk: A header from Oliver Giroud in the injury time of first half saw Chelsea achieve a 1-0 win over Norwich City in a Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night. The result took the Blues points tally to 63 from 36 matches, four points clear of Leicester and Manchester United who are both on 59 points from 35 games. The win also tightened Chelsea’s grip on Champions League spot.

Giroud's header from a Christian Pulisic cross moments before half-time, ensured Frank Lampard's side returned to winning ways after their defeat against Sheffield United last weekend. The Frenchman was seen doing a strange celebration after scoring the winner.

The 33 year old later revealed after the match that his goal celebration was dedicated to his scrabble partner N’Golo Kante. He appeared to write a note in the air in the direction of Kante who was seated at the stands. Both Kante and Giroud are close friends and have played together at both international and club level. Kante missed the game due to a hamstring injury.
