Xtra Time Web Desk: Do you remember Pradeep Sangwan? When Sangwan bowled his first over at Kohli at Brabourne on Saturday, it brought back memories of the first IPL. The left arm seamer from Delhi made an impressive comeback in IPL on Saturday against RCB at Brabourne stadium. He was playing an IPL match after exactly four years. Sangwan is still remembered how he was once picked ahead of Virat Kohli by Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) ahead of the inaugural IPL in 2008. Daredevils had an option of picking between bowling all-rounder, Sangwan, and the U-19 World Cup-winning captain, Kohli. But hey went for the all-rounder. The medium pacer is also remembered for getting banned for a period of 18 months for violating the anti-doping regulations during IPL 2013.

Sangwan, who replaced an injured Yash Dayal made an impressive debut for Gujarat Titans. The left arm medium pacer from Delhi had a brilliant figure of 4-0-19-2. He picked the wickets of RCB captain Faf du Plessis and Rajat Patidar.

Since making his IPL debut for Delhi Daredevils, Sangwan has taken 41 wickets from 36 matches so far.
