XtraTime Web Desk – Former English cricketer and a legend of the game himself, Kevin Pietersen gave his view on the recently ended pink ball test between India and England at Narendra Modi Stadium.
Pietersen has always been vocal on social media. Even after the second test, Pietersen sarcastically tweeted that it was very brave of India to prepare such a pitch after losing the first test.
Yesterday, after England lost the test in just 2 days, KP posted a video saying, “The batting was dreadful. The batting was awful from both teams. I think if they are honest with themselves, they’ll admit that they batted poorly”.
KP went on to say, “21 of 30 dismissals can’t from straight deliveries. There was nothing dangerous in the wicket. There just needed to be some better batting. Better batting and this could have gone to day three and maybe day 4”.
Rohit Sharma supported what KP said and commented that at least there’s someone who understands the game.
