Xtra Time Web Desk: India and Pakistan are set to face each other in a crucial match of the SAFF Championship. However, just a few hours before the match, Pakistan faced severe complications. Pakistan’s football team arrived at Mumbai airport at 1:30 am on Tuesday. Yet, they encountered trouble even before reaching India.

While traveling from Mumbai to Bengaluru, the Pakistani football team encountered problems. They were unable to secure tickets for 32 individuals to Bengaluru on a single flight. The arrangement was made to divide the team and coaching staff between two flights from Mumbai to Bengaluru. However, even there, they faced adversity. Late at night, the officials from the Passport Department were not present at the airport. Furthermore, Pakistani footballers had to fill out visa-related forms. The first batch, consisting of six players and six coaching staff, managed to board their flight at 3:55 in the morning. Consequently, due to the delay at the airport, 14 footballers were unable to catch their designated flight.

On Wednesday morning at 9:15 am, the remaining Pakistani footballers managed to catch the flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru. They arrived at the designated hotel near 1:30 pm in the afternoon. The match is scheduled to commence at 7:30 pm in the evening.
