Aiming World no.1 rank Sindhu sets for new start

Internet Desk: After achieving the second spot at Rio 2016 Indian Silver Medalist eyes for World no.1 rank. Keeping focus on that point P V Sindhu will go for one by one tournament, as she described about her next target.

The World no.10 shuttler of India stunned a bunch of best players of the world in this Olympic by winning the Silver Medal.

Now the period is over. All excitements are getting hazy.

From that point all time best shuttler of India P V Sindhu eyes for the lucrative World no.1 spot.

“If you keep winning tournaments, you automatically become number one. I will have to definitely work hard and give my best,” said Sindhu.

Along with her coach Pullela Gopichand, Sindhu ahd already made a route map for her aim. According to her this is the strategy which gave her the biggest success she has achieved so far.

Previously she said regarding her strategy of winning, “I feel each one was equally tough and each one was totally different because everybody has a different style of game and different strategy. I never thought I will win an Olympic medal. I took it one match at a time.”

After winning the Olympic Medal Sindhu has also planned her route to World no.1 in that pattern.

“My immediate aim is the Superseries. I will focus on that,” said the 21-year-old.

Amidst her plannings Sindhu stopped the controversy regarding the offer given her by the Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali regarding her coaching. The deputy minister offered her better coaching for next Olympic.

“I feel Gopi sir is the best coach. I have been training under him since I was 10. Maybe he said it unknowingly, but I would rather focus on the positive things being said”, stated Sindhu.
