Kolkata : After a long eight years the mighty Mohammedan Sporting club became the runners-up of the Calcutta Football League after Tollygunge Agragami and Army XI played out a 1-1 draw in their CFL encounter at Barasat this evening . The Mohammedan officials felicitates the whole team today in their club tent today. The Club Management also gave Rs. 2 lacs to the entire team as bonous.
The Club Management today organised a special lunch at the club tent in honour of the Team that achived the historical feat after eight years. At the occassion were present Club’s Football Secretary Mr. Iqbal Ahmed MLA, General Secretary Mr. Ghazal Zafar, Ground Secretary Mr. Mohammed Qamaruddin and other executive committee members beside former India captain and Mr. Parsun Banerjee MP and Chairman of Club’s Team Selection Commitee Dipendu Biswas MLA.
