Indian cricketer reaches Delhi from Bengaluru
Internet Desk: Indian pacer Mohammed Shami’s father Tousif Ali has been admitted in Apollo hospital in Delhi due to heart attack. Shami, who was in the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru was undergoing rehabilitation program for his hamstring injury he suffered during the third test match against England. Immediately upon hearing the news, he rushed to Delhi on Thursday afternoon. On his way, Shami tweeted “Fly bangalore to Delhi because family problems.my father hospitalised today early morning because of attack..dua me yad rakhna Allahhafiz.”

Shami’s coach Badruddin Ahmed confirmed the news from Moradabad.”Tousif was suffering from high blood sugar for the last few days. His health deteriorated last week and was admitted in a hospital. After few days of treatment he was released and returned home. Yesterday his health started deteriorating again and he was again flown to Delhi for treatment. He is now admitted in an ICU in Apollo Hospital Delhi. The doctors there said his condition is stable but not out of danger. Shami rushed from Bengaluru to be by the side of his father.”
