‘Miss my old man’ – Virat Kohli remembers his late dad, shares heartfelt post on Father’s Day

Xtra Time Web Desk: Team India captain Virat Kohli on Sunday shared an emotional post about his late father on “Father’s Day”. The 32 year old Virat remembered his late dad who passed away in 2006 when he was just 18 years old. Prem Kohli suffered a heart attack and passed away at the age of 54. Kohli was playing a Ranji Trophy game for Delhi at the time and turned up to bat for his side the next day after attending his father’s funeral.

Kohli, who became a father too few months back wished all the father’s across the world. According to him it is the most wonderful things that God has blessed him with.

He tweeted,”Happy father’s day to all the father’s all across the world. Of all the wonderful things that God has blessed me with, being a father is by far the greatest joy and blessing. As I miss my old man this day, I also celebrate our memories together.”

Team India all rounder Hardik Pandya too shared an emotional post about his late father.

Hardik tweeted, “Dear Papa, not a day goes by where we don’t think about you. We still haven’t gotten over the fact that you’re not with us anymore and we miss you more with every second gone by. #HappyFathersDay. We love you and we miss you.”
