Pic www.makingindia.com[/caption] Internet Desk: Lodha Committee sets deadline for BCCI to complete Annual General Meeting by 15th December. Accordingly, the Supreme Court appointed committee also directed the state bodies to complete their elections by 15th November. Lodha Committee called a meeting on Sunday to discuss over the report placed by BCCI last 25th August. In this meeting no board members were allowed. According to the report placed by Lodha Committee the decision taken by BCCI to arrange their AGM on 21st September, has been nullified. The decision of BCCI means nothing as they cannot hold AGM on 21st September due to restriction of Lodha Committee. Apart from directing for the AGM, Lodha Committee also directed to form the IPL governing council by 30th December. As per the Lodha Committee’s second set of timelines issued on Wednesday, deadline for elections to the apex council of the BCCI — the panel has recommended a nine-member apex council, replacing working committee — the appointment of ethics officer and ombudsman is December 15. "It was decided to direct the BCCI that the AGM to be called on August 21, 2016 be limited only to routine business concerning the past year (2015-16), and deal with any business or matters relating to the next year (2016-17) only after the adoption of the MoA and Rules as per the recommendations of the Committee in accordance with the same," according to the minutes of its Sunday meeting of Lodha Committee.
