Xtra Time Web Desk : As Real Madrid takes on Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup semi final on Thursday, all eyes would be set on the high voltage ‘El Clasico’ which always promises to be tantalizing match.

And ahead of the big match, Los Blancos star Toni Kroos has opened up brutally on his rival club Barcelona as the Germain said that he doesn’t watch too many Barca games as he has “other things” to do.

“I’ve not watched many Barcelona games lately, I have other things to do and watch our games. But I know them well, they have some doubts but overall have a lot of high-quality people. I can’t say though what has changed under Xavi,” said Kroos in a recent statement giving ‘little importance’ to a fragile Barcelona this season.

The Catalunyan giants on the other hand have been through a poor run under their new manager Xavi, as the club weakened by injuries and other issues, have been unable to churn out favourable results. Although the signing of Ferran Torres is expected to give Xavi’s side that extra edge in future, but the possible return of Ansu Fati and Frenkie de Jong in this match could lead to change of fortunes for the Catalunyan club.

Real Madrid on the contrary have had a pretty good season up until now as they currently sit at the top of La Liga and have already advanced to the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League unlike their arch rivals Barcelona.

And, with Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior in fiery form this season, Los Blancos and their would consider themselves as firm favourites in the El Clasico.
