Internet Desk: Kingfisher East Bengal collected their “Invitation to Bid” documents of ISL from the FSDL today. It was decided yesterday only that the Red and Gold brigadewould be collecting their documents to discuss their future movement.

East Bengal official Debabrata Sarkar confessed the news to www.xtratime.in. as he said, “We have collected the form today. We will study the form and then details will follow”.

Another East Bengal official and also the representative of UB group in East Bengal, Mr Amit Sen told www.xtratime.in , “Yes, We have collected the bid paper but this is not the right time to inform our next step. We have to discuss in detail”.

Archrivals Mohun Bagan too are aware of the news as Secretary Anjan Mitra said, “Yes, East Bengal has informed us that they have picked up the bid paper. We will now have a discussion to decide our next step. East Bengal and Mohun Bagan will play in the same league, so the decision will be a collective one.”

Though a bid cannot be expected from either of the two Kolkata giants just because the document has been taken up for consideration, this is a sign that both East Bengal and Mohun Bagan are easing their stance against the IMG-Reliance owned league.
