Internet Desk: Left-arm quick bowler Jaydev Unadkat today became the most expensive Indian player in IPL 2018 as he is sold to Rajasthan Royals for a whooping amount of 11.5 crore. Before him KL Rahul and Manish Pandey were the most valuable players on day 1 as they were sold for 11 crore each. Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) bought Rahul, on the other hand SunRisers Hyderabad picked Pandey. Unadkat is the second most expensive player of this year’s IPL after England all-rounder Ben Stokes who was also bought by Rajasthan for 12.5 crore on day 1.

It was a battle between KXIP and CSK at the first for Unadkat, but later Rajasthan made a surprising entry in the auction and win the final bid against Kings XI Punjab.

Earlier on second day, RR also picked a talented all-rounder K Gowtham for a whooping amount of Rs 6.2 crore.

Gowtham was Rajasthan’s first buy on Day 2 of the auction.
