XtraTime News Desk: Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH) clinched an important victory over Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in a low scoring match at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium by 13 runs.

Batting first the home side posted a total of 132 runs in 20 overs. Batsmen failed to impress as Shikhar Dhawan scored just 11 runs and skipper Kane Williamson departed without troubling the scorer. Wicket Keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha also got out and managed to add just 6 runs to the team’s total. Manish Pandey and Shakib Al Hasan and later experienced Yusuf Pathan batted well.

Ankit Rajppot was brilliant with the ball as he picked five wickets by giving 14 runs in his 4 overs. Mujeeb Ur Rahman picked one wicket and conceded just 17 runs in 4 overs.

Kings started very well as KL Rahul scored 32 runs while another explosive opener Chris Gayle scored 23 runs but after that solid opening partnership the away side lost their momentum as they lost some valuable wickets to make the task difficult for them. Mayank Agarwal, Karun Nair, Aaron Finch, Manoj Tiwary and Andrew Tye failed to make any impact but,
