Xtra Time Web Desk: The first match of IPL 2024 will see Chennai Super Kings taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore in M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on 22nd March.
Chennai is also all set to witness an ‘exciting act’ by Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the opening ceremony. Due to which, toss has been pushed from 7:00 PM IST to 7:30 PM IST, with the first innings set to start at 8:00 PM IST instead of 7:30 PM IST.

The IPL 2024 opening ceremony will commence on 6:30 PM IST. This opening ceremony will see numerous celebraties and a lot of entertainment. According to sources AR Rahman and Sonu Nigam will also perform to patriotic songs, along with Bollywood numbers.
