Virat shut down his critics with a fiery knock. Proving that he made himself an obvious choice for the upcoming T20 World Cup. The chase master hammered his 100th 50-plus score while chasing 177 runs.

Chris Gayle currently holds the record for most 50-plus scores in 112 matches in T20s, followed by David Warner (109) in second place. Kohli is third in the leader board, having done it in 100 matches. He is also the first Indian to reach 100 50-plus scores in T20s, which is a direct reply to his critics who feel he should not be included in the T20 World Cup squad.
