Xtra Time Web Desk: Mohit Sharma, David Miller, Sai Sudarhan stars as Gujarat Titans defeats Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets. Gujarat restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad to 162/8 in IPL 2024 clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on 31st March. SRH captain Pat Cummins winning the toss, chose to bat, Sunrisers managed to score 162 runs only against the Titans.
Despite their reputation for explosive batting, the Sunrisers’ batsmen struggled to shine today, with none managing to surpass the 30-run mark. SRH concluded their innings at 162/7 in 20 overs. Abdul Samad and Shabaz Ahmed contribute with crucial cameos for the visiting team, but at the end they fell short. Mohit Sharma led the bowling charge for GT, claiming 3 wickets, while Noor Ahmad, Rashid Khan, Umesh Yadav, and Azmatullah Omarzai contributed with one wicket each.

Gujarat looked very comfortable while chasing the target. The wicket significantly got better with the setting Sun. contributions came from all the top 4 batters. Wriddhiman Saha (25), Shubhman Gill (36), Sai Sudarshan (45), David Miller (44). Hyderabad could not do much about it. They only managed get three GT batters out.
After a setback against CSK in their previous away fixture, Gill’s men brought thing back on track by defeating SRH.
