Xtra Time Web Desk: Shahrukh Khan arrived in Kolkata in search of success in the IPL. At 6 o’clock in the evening, Bollywood’s king reached Kolkata airport. From the airport, he went straight to Eden Gardens.
With black sunglasses, ponytail, and a light grey T-shirt, Shahrukh Khan appeared in Kolkata with hopes of watching the team’s first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Before getting into the car at the airport, Shahrukh greeted the fans with kisses. Upon reaching Eden Gardens, he waved to his supporters with affection.

Since 2014, the Kolkata Knight Riders have been unable to win the IPL. Shahrukh has brought Gautam Gambhir on board as a mentor to guide the team back to success. They have acquired Mitchell Starc for the team. Phil Salt has been brought in as a replacement for Jason Roy. Shahrukh is keen on revamping KKR with new initiatives.
