Xtra Time Web Desk: Chennai Super Kings’ newest batting sensation, Sameer Rizvi left a lasting impression in his Indian Premier League debut against Gujarat Titans on 26 March, which even put a smile on the face of their former skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Sameer credited his performance to the valuable advice which he got from Dhoni.
Sameer came out to bat in the death overs and was up against one of the finest bowlers in the shortest format, Rashid Khan. Nevertheless, he managed to hit two maximums off the three deliveries from the leg-spinnerโs over. Won the battle against the experienced bowler.
