It was an emotional moment for everyone in the cricket fraternity, as Rishabh walked out with his pads on to bat at no. 4 after David Warner got out to Harshal Patel. The television cameras captured the emotional moment as fans at the newly-built stadium were up on their feet, welcoming one of India's finest match-winners. Even the players and the support staff members of the Delhi Capitals franchise were up on their feet, lauding the young wicketkeeper-batter. The commentators were no difference.

Rishab Pant who is known for playing with high strike rate, could only score 18 off 13deliveries. He lost his wicket to his former teammate Harshal Patel while going for a for a big shot. Although Pant made a miraculous recovery, returned to action earlier than expected, DC fans would hope to see the old Rishabh back again whom every bowler feared.
