“As far as the celebration I did while batting, I did that for Nitish (Rana) Bhaiya, he got injured. Him and I are both (Manchester) United fans, so I did that for him,” Angkrish said.

The 18-year-old came into the limelight of the cricket fraternity after his impressive form during the U-19 World Cup in 2022, which saw him finish as the leading run-scorer of the tournament with his 278 runs in 6 innings. His performance saw KKR rope in the youngster for his base price of Rs 20 Lakh during the IPL 2024 auction.
