IPL 2021: Ishan Kishan practice reverse sweep to perfection during Mumbai Indians training session in Abu Dhabi – Watch video

Xtra Time Web Desk: Mumbai Indians started their training session at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi ahead of the second leg of IPL 2021 in UAE. The players and support staffs completed their mandatory six days quarantine before being allowed to train. The reigning champions were one of the first franchises to land in UAE.  They have been camping at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi. The franchise shared a video of their wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan practicing a reverse sweep at the first practice session in Sheikh Zayed Stadium.

Mostly the Indian players are right now in Abu Dhabi attending the MI camp. Players like Jayant Yadav, Piyush Chawla, Ishan Kishan, Sourabh Tiwary, Dhawal Kulkarni and others are in UAE. One of the major reason for the success of Mumbai Indians is the bonding and camaraderie the players share with each other. The franchise shared a video of the players playing volleyball in the pool and they were seen enjoying quite a lot.

The MI franchise arranged for the players a special GPS enabled watched by Abu Dhabi health department which they will be using till the end of IPL 2021 season.

Rohit Sharma led franchise will re-start their campaign in IPL 2021 against Chennai Super Kings on September 19 in Abu Dhabi.
