Xtra Time Web Desk: An all round display from Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) saw them register a comprehensive 54 runs win against Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2021 clash at Dubai on Sunday night. RCB medium pacer Harshal Patel took a hat-trick (4/17), becoming the third player for the franchise to do so in the history of the cash rich league. He removed Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard and Rahul Chahar off successive deliveries. Chasing 166 runs to win MI were all out for 111 runs in 18.1 overs. The win saw RCB stay in the third spot with 12 points from 10 games while defending champions MI slumped to seventh spot with six defeats from 10 games so far.

One of the key performers for RCB was Glenn Maxwell who finally justified his million dollar contract with an all round show. Apart from scoring a quickfire 56 off 37 balls, the Aussie all rounder also took 2/23. Leg spinner Yuzuvendra Chahal also picked three wickets in his four overs, giving away just 11 runs.

Earlier RCB captain Virat Kohli scored his second half-century (51 off 42 balls) that included three sixes and same number of fours. In doing so Kohli also became the first player to complete 10000 runs in T20 cricket.
