Slower ball,cutter ball one after another from Rajasthan Royals bowlers made life difficult for Kolkata knight Riders batters on Saturday evening inside Wankhede stadium, Mumbai in the ongoing Indian Premier League ( IPL 2021). Every Kolkata batsman struggled to get going against Rajasthan bowlers. Only Tripathi and Karthik were the exception. Result Kolkata lost the match by 6 Wickets to bottom placed Rajasthan Royals who moved to 6th spot.





Rahul Tripathi the only bright spot in Kolkata batting :-



Kolkata knight Riders openers scored runs at just over 4 in their powerplay overs vs Rajasthan. That put lot of pressure on the batsmen to come. Tripathi was the lone batsman from Kolkata to cross 30 run mark. He scored 36 runs from just 26 balls.



Brilliant bowling from Chris Morris :-


Most expensive cricketer of IPL history South African Chris Morris was brilliant with the ball against Kolkata knight Riders. He not only took 4 wickets but bowled economically as well. He returned with a figure of 4-0-23-4 and put brakes on Kolkata scoring.



Tewatia,Parag selfie celebration :-


Boring batting from Kolkata batsmen was all that spectators were able to witness in the first half of Kolkata vs Rajasthan match. It was lightened up by a unique celebration by two Rajasthan cricketers. Riyan Parag took a catch of Cummins from the bowling off Morris. After that Parag and Tewatia involved in a selfie celebration that caught everyone's attention.



Captain Cool Sanju guides team to victory :-


Rajasthan Royals captain batted through the innings. He remained not out and guided his team to their 2 win. He scored 42 not out from just 41 balls.



Yashasvi Jaiswal gave a solid start in his frist match :-


Playing his first match of this season Jaiswal started the Rajasthan innings in grand fashion. He gave the innings the impetus that it needed. He scored 22 runs from just 17 balls.
