XtraTime Web Desk: Mumbai Indian’s batsman Suryakumar Yadav always had the potentiality to make it big. The talented batsman has been knocking the doors of the Indian team for quite some time. On Tuesday Suryakumar produced yet another masterclass, scoring a brilliant 79 runs off 47 balls against Rajasthan Royals at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium. He scored the runs at a breathtaking strike rate of 168.08. But more than his knock, netizens are going ga ga over his batting pyrotechnics.

The six that he hit with a reverse scoop off Jofra Archer immediately after getting hit on the head has taken the social media by storm. On the first ball of the 18th over, Archer hurled a dangerous beamer at 152 kph towards Pandya, who had to duck to save his life. Unlike Saini on Monday, the Englishman apologized immediately. And, as if this wasn’t enough, three balls later, the English fast bowler bowled another nasty delivery hitting Suryakumar on his helmet. It did shake the Mumbai batsman and evoked an air of concern as the Mi physio came rushing to attend him. Little did anyone imagine what was to happen the next ball bowled by Archer. Suryakumar reverse-scooped a fuller delivery from the fast bowler for an outrageous six over third man, taking the social media by storm.

Yadav along with Hardik Pandya (30 off 19 balls) made a mockery of Rajasthan bowling towards the death overs as they scored 76 from 24 balls to helop Mumbai Indians set a stiff target of 194 runs. Rajasthan Royals were bundled out for 136 runs, thanks to a superb effort from Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult who picked four wickets a piece.
