IPL 2020: RCB set up specially-built game room for its cricketers

XtraTime Web Desk: Staying in the bio-secure bubble is the biggest challenge for all the players in IPL 2020 and that’s why Indian Premier League franchises like Royal Challengers Bangalore are trying their level best to give some comfort to its players.

IPL season 13 will take place inside a bio-bubble from September 19 with everybody taking part in the tournament undergoing several checks for coronavirus ever since they left for the United Arab Emirates.

Players and support staff are only shuffling between their team hotels and the cricket stadiums for outdoor practice sessions. Nobody is allowed to break the bubble and travel around due to the virus scare.

So Royal Challengers Bangalore decided to set up a specially-made gaming room for its players, support staff and franchise officials at their team hotel in Dubai.

The gaming room consists of things like a pool table, football table, TT table, air-hockey table and even an F1 simulator, among other things.

Virtual golf and cricket options are also available along with a karaoke set up as well.

RCB gave a tour of their custom-made gaming room by posting a video on social media.

Royal Challengers Bangalore will open their IPL 2020 campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 21.
