XtraTime Web Desk: Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan is all geared up to set the stage on fire for the IPL 2018 opening ceremony on April 7 at Wankhede Stadium. The Dhoom 2 actor has replaced an injured Ranveer Singh for the star-studded opening ceremony. Hrithik along with Varun Dhawan, Parineeti Chopra and Jacqueline Fernandez will be the star attraction for the opening night.

Hrithik has already started training with none other than celebrity choreographer Shiamak Davar. A picture of Hrithik along with Shiamak is already gone viral on social media. It is learnt that BCCI has approached the macho actor after Ranveer Singh was ruled out because of the injury. Hrithik will perform live on stage, dancing to the tunes of his latest Bollywood hits. The 45-minute opening ceremony will be followed by fireworks ahead of the opening game between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.

Ranveer Singh was forced to withdraw from the opening ceremony because of a shoulder injury the actor sustained while playing a game of soccer. The Padmaavat actor has been advised by the doctors to take rest.
