Internet Desk: The Indian women’s team would undergo a practice camp before the World Cup. The camp is scheduled to be held from 6th to 10th of June at the BKC in Mumbai before the team departs for England to play the grand tournament.

The Indian team is currently enjoying the second longest winning streak in the history of Women’s cricket with 16 matches. To strengthen the fielding of the team BCCI has appointed Billu George as the new fielding coach.

The Indian team is scheduled to leave for England on 11th of June and would reach UK a week before the official warm up matches commences.

The team would begin training at Loughborough MCC University and are to play a practice game with the England. After that they are to arrive at Derbyshire for a training camp.

The team will be based in Derby and play two warm-up games against New Zealand Women (June 19) and Sri Lanka Women (June 21).

India plays their tournament opener against England on June 24.
