Xtra Time Web Desk : KL Rahul on Monday became the fourth Karnataka cricketer to captain Team India in Test cricket as he replaced Virat Kohli, who was ruled out of the Wanderers Test against Proteas due to upper back spasm. And here's how the the cricket fraternity has reacted over the 29 year old's first assignment as Team India's stand in skipper :
Reacting to the great honour of captaining Team India in the longest format of the game, the Karnataka opening batter himself said, "It is every Indian player's dream to captain his country. Really honoured and looking forward to this challenge. We have had a few good wins here and hopefully we'll look to continue that."
