Xtra Time Web Desk: Good news for Team India as wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant’s quarantine will end soon. The dashing batsman will be allowed to travel to Durham either on July 22 or 23 post COVID-19 diagnosis after the end of his quarantine.  Pant has been isolating at a relative’s place in London ever since contracting the dreaded virus. It is learnt Pant has ended his quarantine on Sunday but will not be allowed to travel to Durham before July 21. This will mean he can only play the second practice game starting from July 28.

The Indian team is supposed to play an intra squad match after the first practice game against County Select XI which starts from July 20. The intra squad match will be played from July 28. The squad will then travel to Nottingham for the first test match against England which starts from August 4.

Meanwhile, the other member of the touring party, throwdown specialist Dayanand Garani is still isolating himself along with Abhimanyu Easwaran, Wriddhiman Saha and bowling coach Bharat Arun.

It is also learnt that the quarantine period for  Abhimanyu Easwaran, Wriddhiman Saha and bowling coach Bharat Arun will only end on 24th July. All three have already tested negative as per last update available. As far as Garani is concerned, he will stay in complete isolation for some more time.
