Xtra Time Web Desk: Team India had their full training session at the Ageas Bowl on Wednesday. It was the first group training session of the team where the players practiced with a lot of intensity. The Indian cricketers since reaching Southampton on June 3 were under hard quarantine for three days before being allowed to train in smaller groups. The players practiced with the Dukes balls which will be used for the WTC Final followed by the five match test series against England. The BCCI shared a small video clip of the entire practice session on its official twitter handle on Thursday.

Indian captain Virat Kohli as usual looked graceful and confident as ever in the nets at the Ageas Bowl. He was seen walking inside the ground with his mask on. The likes of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane all spent quality time at the nets on Wednesday.

All the fast bowlers – Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Siraj were seen steaming in at the nets. Off spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and left arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja too rolled their arms. Wicket keeper batsman Rishabh Pant looked in a aggressive mode while batting at the nets. Emphasis was laid down to slip catching as well towards the end of nets session.

India will take on New Zealand in the final of the ICC World Test Championship at the same venue from June 18
