Zaheer was the captain of Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League season 10, where he took 10 wickets in 11 games and showed everyone that what he can do with the ball still now.

According to the reports the BCCI office-bearers are looking for a bowling coach to reduce some burden from the shoulders of head coach Anil Kumble and Zaheer is the idle candidate to take the job for bowling coach’s post.

In recent past, Zaheer also said many times that he is open always open for different roles.

“I am open to it. I have already been advising the boys, so yes, I am open,” said Zaheer after his retirement from the game.

Zaheer led the Indian bowling attack in 2011 World Cup where Dhoni and co. lift the title after 28 long years.
