Indian national test team middle order batsman Hanuma Vihari went unsold in the auction of the 14th season of Indian Premier League ( IPL 2021, Indian T-20 League). He decided to sign for county team Warwickshire. He took this stint as a preparation for India’s upcoming tour to England for a full fledged series to be played after the World Test Championship got over.

But he has not performed upto the mark till now.In the six innings he has played so far he was able to register two digit score only twice with a solitary half century innings that he played vs Essex. His scores read a sad story with it showing single digit scores most of the time 0,8,32,52,8,0 . He made his county debut for Warwickshire vs Nottinghamshire. While fielding for Warwickshire he took a blinder catch but registered a duck in his very first innings scored off 23 balls as he was out caught off the bowling of Stuart Broad. In the second match vs Essex he had a relatively good outing scoring 32 and 52 respectively. But in his third match vs Worcestershire he failed with the bat again registering 8 and 0 respectively. With test series vs England nearing Hanuma Vihari who has not played international cricket after his match saving innings in Sydney, Australia remains a cause of worry for Virat Kohli and team India.
