Shehnaz Singh all set to make a comeback at Mohun Bagan
Internet Desk: Diego Forlan and Mumbai City FC players got a feel of how they will be received by the Kolkata crowd tomorrow at Rabindra Sarobar for the ISL semi final against Atletico. The Uruguyan international got a loud cheer from the fans during the practice session along with Sony Norde and Sunil Chhetri.
The trio of Forlan, Norde and Chhetri looked to be in a cheerful mood at the practice session at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium. Someone like Norde will know the condition that exists in these parts and he will definitely have the backing of Mohun Bagan supporters in the stands.
According to Mumbai City FC coach Alexandre Guimaraes’ , “It is not about only Diego Forlan in my team. He definitely had an impact to the side but I also have players like Norde, Chhetri who have equally contributed for the success of the team.”
Norde was quite enjoying the cheer of the crowd (mostly Mohun Bagan fans) as he was seen waving his hands towards them. It is expected that the Haitian international will stay on with the Federation Cup champions for another season for the forthcoming I League. Just a few formalities are needed to be sorted out before Norde signs in favour of the Mariners.
Norde is expected to sign in favour for Mohun Bagan after the end of Indian Super League (ISL).
Meanwhile Sehnaz Singh will make a comeback to his former club after a season with East Bengal. Sehnaz’s papers have been sent to Mumbai City FC. The defensive midfielder will definitely add to the strength of Mohun Bagan squad.
