Xtra Time Web Desk: Great news for Indian cricket fans as Jasprit Bumrah is back in his rhythm. The Indian T20I captain was the cynosure of all eyes as he bowled in full steam at the first training session of the team at the Malahide Cricket Club. The sight of Bumrah troubling the batters in the nets will bring smiles to Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid. In a video shared by BCCI on its official Twitter handle, Bumrah can be seen making life difficult for the batters in the nets.

As far as the three match T20I series is concerned it will be a good preparation for newcomers like Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma, Shivam Dube and others, who will head for the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou after this series.

The Men in Blue are heading into the series on the back of a shock 2-3 series defeat at the hands of West Indies. Hardik Pandya led team were beaten 3-2 by the Windies. The series will be a great opportunity to bounce back to form for the likes of Sanju Samson, who was not in great form against the Windies.

Tilak Varma, who has been a revelation in the recently concluded T20I series will look to carry on the momentum. He was the best batter among the Indians, scoring 173 runs.

Another cricketer who will be looking to making a mark is vice-captain Ruturaj Gaikwad. Being neglected in the tests and ODIs against the Windies, Ruturaj will look to make some useful contributions at the top. He has also been named the captain of the Indian team for upcoming Asian Games 2023.

Other notable members of the squad included Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma, Washington Sundar and Shivam Dube. The wicketkeeping duties will be shared between Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma.

The series will kick-start on August 18 at Malahide, Dublin, with subsequent matches scheduled for August 20 and 23 at the same venue. Each match is set to commence at 7:30 pm Indian time.
