Kolkata: The Kolkata Maidan already know that East Bengal’s star forward Willis Plaza is a big fan of Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan. But not only Willis Plaza, their arch rival Mohun Bagan’s new heartthrob Ansumana Kromah too is a diehard fan of SRK.

Kromah scored four goals for the side in three practice games during their pre-season campaign. He scored the opening goal for the Green and Maroon Brigade in their first match of the CFL 2017 against Southern Samity. Mohun Bagan played a practice game today but coach Shankarlal Chakraborty gave the players from the reserve bench, the opportunity to play the match. The first XI of Mohun Bagan’s last game against Southern just did their practice today, except Kromah who came to the club to watch his teammates practice session.

While talking to www.xtratime.in correspondent Sabyasachi Bagchi, Kromah said,” When I was in Africa, I first saw Shah Rukh’s movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. After watching it I became a huge fan of him. I have also watched Don, Rab Ne Banadi Jodi, Veer-Zara too.”

On being asked whether, he knows any dialogue of Shah Rukh he replied,” I don’t remember any proper dialogue of him as you know it’s not the language that I am familiar with. I love his gesture of him in which he stretches his both arm to show his love for the fans.”

Kromah showed the same gesture while talking to www.xtratime.in too.

Kromah further added,” Shah Rukh Khan is the pillar of  Bollywood industry and I want to become the Shah Rukh Khan of Mohun Bagan.”

Mohun Bagan played a practice match against the Army XI reserve bench today and they won the match comprehensively by 4-0. The scorers were Shilton D’Silva, Narahari Srestha, Uttam Rai and Souvik Das.

The Green and Maroon Brigade will face Railway FC in their second match of the Calcutta Football League 2017 on August 18. Mohun Bagan coach, Shankarlal Chakraborty gave a chance to his reserve bench players to play the practice game to keep them match fit.” I gave them the chance to keep their moral high and it will help them to keep themselves match fit. The score line of the match doesn’t matter to me. All the players in the squad are equally important for the team. If an important player of the first XI sustains an injury anybody from the reserve bench can get his chance if he does well in the practice sessions,” said Shankarlal.

The Mohun Bagan gaffer is very happy with Shilton D’Silva’s performance.” After coming from Mumbai FC he sustained a career threatening injury, but I am happy that he has returned to the field and I am happy with his performance today.”

While commenting on Railway FC, Shankarlal added, ”Though they are a office team, but they have two foreigners in the side. I have watched them play in the Calcutta Football League and I won’t be surprised if they do well both against East Bengal and Mohun Bagan. We will play our natural game on Friday and the team wants to carry it’s winning momentum.”
