FIFA officials to visit India in October to evaluate preparation for U-17 World Cup

Kolkata: A 13-member FIFA delegation led by Marion Mayer-Vorfelder (Event Manager FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017) and Tracy Lu (Project Lead for FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017) will be visiting India in October to evaluate the progress made towards the preparation in each of the six stadiums. The delegation will be in India from October 19 -25.

This will be the second full inspection from FIFA for the tournament. The FIFA officials will be inspecting each of the six stadiums and all the designated training sites in each city to evaluate the progress made towards the preparation for the FIFA U-17 World Cup to be held in India in September-October, 2017.

The team will first visit Kochi on October 19. They will next visit Navi Mumbai on October 20 and subsequently visit Goa (October 22), New Delhi (October 23), Guwahati (October 24) and Kolkata (October 25)
