Kolkata: Mohun Bagan gets the biggest shock perhaps before the return leg of the Kolkata derby, as the Haitian magician Sony Norde has shockingly decided to leave Mohun Bagan in the mid way of the league.

Today, in an exclusive interaction with www.xtratime.in journalist Sabyasachi Bagchi, the star winger stated, “Yes I’m leaving Mohun Bagan. I will call a press meet on 22nd to announce my decision.” Sony had been suffering from a knee injury but the decision will be a reason for a heart-break for a million of Mariners.

A high source of the club also stated to www.xtratime.in , “Sony came to us with a sporting attitude and said that he needs to operate his knee. He wanted us to release him after the derby as he doesn’t want to affect the morale of the side. He also said that he won’t take a single penny from the club for the early release. He wants to give us the sufficient time to find a replacement before it’s too late. We will find his replacement as soon as possible.”
