Xtra Time Web Desk: Russian coach Stanislav Cherchesov on Wednesday decided to walk the opposite way from Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo as far as EURO 2020 ‘Bottlegate’ is concerned. The 57 year old gaffer decided to drink a bottle of coke while attending his post match press conference after his team’s EURO 2020 Group B clash against Finland. Cherchesov, during the press conference picked up a bottle of coke placed on the table and took several sips from it unlike what Ronaldo did few days back. The Portugese superstar removed the bottles of coke before attending his pre match press conference in EURO 2020 clash against Hungary.

There was a lot of hue and cry following Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo gesture to remove the bottles of the soft drink giants Coca Cola. The act from Ronaldo costed the soft drink company a loss to the extent of $4 billion.

Uefa has since issued a statement in response to CR7’s actions, saying ‘everyone is entitled to their drink preferences’ and that everyone has different ‘tastes and needs’.
