File Pic[/caption] Kolkata: After all the drama, speculation and exchange of words, Kingfisher East Bengal officials had a face to face discussion with their British Coach Trevor Morgan. It was expected that there would be some serious conversations between the officials and the coach and the way the East Bengal gaffer left the club tent after meeting, made clear indications how stormy the meeting was. In the meeting, Football Secretary Santosh Bhattacharya asked series of questions to the East Bengal coach before sacking Assistant Coach Warren Hackett and Goakeeping Coach Abhijit Mondal for their performances. The Football Secretary asked Trevor why he stated the media about his dissatisfaction about the squad. The officials confessed that they couldn't deliver the list of players the coach wanted, but also reminded him that they inform him accordingly. The officials also asked questions why the coach constantly using TP Rehenesh between the sticks despite his disappointing performances when the officialshave signed as many as four goal keepers! Mr Bhattacharya also reminded him that they didn't find any similarity between the Trevor Morgan of old and the Trevor Morgan of now. He also asked questions why the team lost their after having a superb show in the first nine matches. Morgan was also asked why he didn't field Robin Singh in the derby when he has such a great record in the derbies. The East Bengal coach answered all the questions with proper reasons. Though Santosh Bhattacharya, by sitting beside official Debabrata Sarkar, told, "We spoke to Trevor Morgan and requested him to try as much as possible in the last three matches to finish the league on a high." He added, "We have a contract with him till the 31st May and at the moment there is no point of parting ways with him." Though the Football Secretary Santosh Bhattacharya mentioned, "We will certainly keep a track on his coaching performance in the last three games before the Federation Cup begins." It is learnt that Trevor Morgan was directly said that the officials are reluctant to spend their money for the Assistant Coach and the Goalkeeper Coach and from Friday onwards it will only be Trevor Morgan who will work with the team.

Official Debabrata Sarkar said, "We spoke to the coach and approved him to take necessary step against Willis Plaza for his activity in the Kolkata derby." He also mentioned that it's the officials and not Mehtab Hossain, who will decide the future of the experienced midfielder in the club. The officials declared that tomorrow there won't be any practice in the club.
