Image Source: ISL[/caption] Internet Desk: East Bengal club of Kolkata are in talks with Kerala Blasters striker Kervens Belfort. It was the Haitian striker’s goal that helped Blasters win against Delhi Dynamos in the ISL second semi final leg 1 in Kochi. The former FC Sion striker has played 30 international matches for Haiti so far. His recent exploits in Copa America this summer was well appreciated. He clocked 138 minutes from three matches in USA. According to Debabrata Sarkar “We are in talks with him. He has a very important match coming up in ISL tomorrow. He is going to decide only after the ISL.” Belfort’s teammate in Blasters, Mehtab Hossain who plays for East Bengal is linked to convincing the striker to play for the Kolkata side. There are quite a few names on East Bengal’s radar. Delhi Dynamos Richard Gadze, and Kerala Blasters Antonio German along with Atletico de Kolkata’s Iain Hume. But so far no one seems to have shown an interest in plying their trade with the Red and Gold jersey. “They do not seem to be interested in playing for us. We have approached everyone,” said Debabrata Sarkar. As far as Do Dong Hyun’s replacement is concerned, the club’s de-facto supremo pointed towards Coch Trevor Morgan. According to Debabrata Sarkar, “The coach is looking after an Asian footballer. He has already suggested a couple of names.” It will be quite interesting to see whether Morgan can get the service of four foreigners from the start of the I League.
