Internet Desk: Kingfisher East Bengal avoided a big scare on Thursday as the could just miss another important foreigner against Shillong Lajong on Saturday. Ugandan central defender Ivan Bukenye suddenly got affected by the cold weather of the North-Eastern India and started feeling unbearable pain in his ears from the morning.

The pain started getting bad to worse and it forced the Kingfisher East Bengal manager Manish Banerjee to take him to a local physician immediately. The doctor somehow took control of the situation and helped the giant defender to feel better with some strong medicines.

The Kingfisher East Bengal side trained at the Shillong Sports Association Ground today and will have the access to train at the match venue on tomorrow. The East Bengal camp is rejuvenated by the inclusion of Cavin Lobo, as the star holding midfielder was out because of injury for a long time and this has been the first time he got included in the 18-men squad for East Bengal. Lobo said, “Thanks to all the fans for supporting me throughout and I am looking forward to help my team in every possible way. It has been a wonderful feeling.”

It is to see who plays in place of Wedson Anselme in the all important game as Trevor Morgan’s team will be trying to fill the void of the Haitian midfielder. No doubt, a fit Cavin Lobo is a fresh air for the Red and Gold outfit.
